Ms. Nguyen, Ms. Nielson, and Ms. Boyd are Highland Park Elementary's MLL ( known as English Language Learner) teachers.

ELL teachers work with classroom teachers to provide targeted English language instruction within content areas like reading and math. Our goal is to help develop our students' academic language by working on vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
