Hello! My name is Ms. Kautt, and I will be the K-2 WINN teacher at Bruce F. Vento Elementary School! I will be supporting our K-2 readers with small reading groups this year. I graduated from Luther College in 2010, with degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish.  After graduation, I moved to the Twin Cities. I began my student teaching in St. Paul Public Schools and have been with the district ever since! I have been teaching for 10 years, and I have taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades.  I have enjoyed teaching all grades, but I am especially excited to return to primary this year.

We are busy in our small groups! We review sight words, talk about books, learn new reading strategies, work with words, and write about our reading.  It's been a joy to see the growth students have made in their reading this year.
