Mr. Kakou comes to Highwood Hills with a wealth of experience and a joy to teach. I started with SPPS at L'Etoile du Nord French Immersion as a TA for 3 years, and then as a classroom teacher for another 3 years. I taught French exploration class at Ramsey Middle School for a year before transitioning to Highwood Hills. I enjoy working with our young minds and talents. Before SPPS, I worked in a Law Firm as an Attorney with my Law Degree.

I graduated from Hamline University with a degree from the Masters of Arts in teaching program. I love to read and always eager to learn new things to challenge myself and the kids. I am married and father of 2 wonderful children.
