About the Teacher...

My name is Mrs. Dove I have been teaching at Mississippi Creative Arts since the fall of 2014 as both an Early Childhood Special Education teacher and a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. My morning classroom is ECSE and my afternoon classroom is PreK. Before starting at Mississippi, I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in the spring of 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Unified Early Childhood Studies. Immediately after college, I taught in a classroom of infants and toddlers for a year before I began teaching in St. Paul as an itinerant early childhood special education teacher. The following fall, I was hired for my current teaching position and I have been lucky to continue teaching here ever since! In January of 2016, I graduated with my Masters in Education from St. Mary's University and got married the following October. I live with my husband and our dog in Apple Valley where we enjoy exploring the outdoors and spending time with family.
