Welcome to Fifth Grade!

I am excited to begin another year here at Mississippi Creative Arts. I have been a teacher in St. Paul for the last 16 years, and enjoy learning new things from the students every year.

 I attended the University of Minnesota where I graduated with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education. I love to spend time with my husband, two daughters (12 and 8 years old), and our dog.  As a family, we enjoy going for walks, playing outside, going for bike rides, and just having fun!  I enjoy reading lots of new books, taking photographs, and follow and cheer for a few different sports teams.
