Dear Families,

I am Don Parnell and I am your child’s 2nd grade teacher.  I am excited to be working with you and your child this school year. 

I have been teaching at Mississippi Creative Arts for over 14 years.  I have been a Kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd Grade teacher, a Basic Skills teacher and a 2nd Grade Math Specialist teacher.

We spend most of our time on math, reading, writing and phonics.  I will teach the St. Paul Public School Districts curriculum in all of these areas.  Your child has Art, Music, Drama, Dance, Science and Physical Education class too.
