Hello, my name is Mara Verstraete but the students know me as Ms. V. I am the English Language (EL) teacher in kindergarten, which means I work with all classrooms to support students whose home language is not English. I usually work with small groups of students to provide extra language support in content areas. I help students develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. I am happy to be working with kindergarteners because they love to learn and they are very enthusiastic!
