Originally from Kansas, I moved to the twin cities in 1997. I currently live in Hudson, Wisconsin with my wife and two daughters. I have worked in the St. Paul School District for 20 years, teaching at Benjamin E. Mays iB World School since 2018 and at Obama Elementary before that (2006-2018). I have taught third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and first grade. However, second grade is my favorite grade to teach.

I am a Kansas boy at heart and I enjoy watching the Kansas Jayhawks, KC Chiefs, and the KC Royals. I enjoy outdoor activities like golf and going for hikes. I am an avid reader and a huge fan of the Harry Potter series. As a teacher, I hope to teach my students the joy of reading and encourage them to be great writers. I am honored to be able to teach your children!
