Our small school has a big heart. We are a "family". Nestled in a quiet East Side neighborhood, Eastern Heights Elementary celebrates inclusion of the rich cultural diversity of our students and their families each day. NAAPID- National African American Parent Involvement Day- What a GREAT ASSEMBLY we had this morning!!! Thank you to all of the families who joined us! We also had a great group in our Community Family Voices Circle this morning as we shared a bit of brunch! Last night... 5:30- 7:30 pm (We had a great community dinner 5:30-6:15, and enjoyed culturally relevant films 6:15-7:30 for all ages) Join us for a feedback meeting this Wednesday 4:40-5:10 pm

Family STEAM Night- (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)- Fill your Passport as you try all of the great activities highlighting these subjects. Learn how your children learn!) Thursday, April 18, 2019 5:30-7:30 pm - watch for planning meeting notices in the calendar! We want your help to make this our best STEAM Night yet!
At Eastern Heights each person has gifts and talents, is peaceful and kind and is here to learn! We are a Restorative Community at school, at home and in our community. We are very excited about our growing implementation of Restorative Practices as we support our community of learners small and tall, through building strong relationships, responding to challenges with Restorative Impulse, Trauma Sensitive Practices and developing our Social Emotional Competencies.
