Our small school has a big heart. We are a "family". Nestled in a quiet East Side neighborhood, Eastern Heights Elementary celebrates inclusion of the rich cultural diversity of our students and their families each day. Teachers here know there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to education, so we focus on Restorative Practices, Culturally Relevant Teaching, and Integrating Technology into our academic instruction to Personalize Learning for each child. At Eastern Heights each person has gifts and talents, is peaceful and kind and is here to learn! We are a Restorative Community at school, at home and in our community. We are very excited about our growing implementation of Restorative Practices as we support our community of learners small and tall, through building strong relationships, responding to challenges with Restorative Impulse, Trauma Sensitive Practices and developing our Social Emotional Competencies.
