As we count down the days until winter break and the holiday season, I wanted to pop in and tell you how grateful I am for your hard work, dedication and professionalism as an employee of Saint Paul Public Schools. Thank you for all you do to make SPPS the best school district in Minnesota. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a very happy new year.

With built-in safeguards, data protection, and resources for responsible use, Gemini empowers students while ensuring a safe educational environment.

Congratulations to the 10 SPPS educators who are candidates for 2025 Minnesota Teacher of the Year! This annual program celebrates Minnesota’s tradition of excellence in teaching. Finalists will be selected in March, and the 2025 Teacher of the Year will be named at a ceremony in May.

Classroom teachers: Sign up for the Naturethon Classroom Challenge by February 20. Naturethon is a friendly classroom challenge for students and their teachers to take learning outside for at least 300 minutes from March through May, or about 30 minutes a week.
