• SPPS will continue to provide free meals to students while they are in distance learning starting Tuesday, September 8. Meal boxes will continue to be delivered to homes as they were this summer. Free meals are available for any Saint Paul children 18 and under, and those with a disability enrolled in a school program.

    Curbside pickup is also available Monday-Friday at select schools.

    If you have not already done so, please fill out your Application for Educational Benefits that was mailed to homes earlier this month.


    Saint Paul Public Schools is offering weekly home meal delivery to SPPS families. If you would like to receive home delivery for your SPPS student, you can register online.

    Some large apartment complexes have designated pickup locations for meal deliveries. Visit the apartment deliveries page for a full schedule based on your building address.


    If you do not want home delivery, meals can be picked up on the following schedule. Please remember to practice social distancing (stay at least 6 feet away from other people) and wear a mask when picking up meals.


    Ramsey County

    Meals on Wheels of Ramsey County is providing free home-delivered meals to Ramsey County adult residents who are impacted by COVID-19. This program is made possible by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. 

    City of Saint Paul

    The City of Saint Paul is partnering with Youthprise, Arts-Us, and the Sanneh Foundation to provide free meal service to Saint Paul families in need. Families with a minor child in the home can pick up one meal bag per child per week. Each meal bag contains seven dinners and seven snacks.

    Greater Twin Cities YMCA

    YMCA locations in St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights and Maplewood have free family meals and lunch bags Monday through Friday, noon-1 p.m. while supplies last.

    Salvation Army

    The West 7th and Eastside locations have free meal boxes Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

    Conway Community Center

    Grab-and-go meals are served Monday-Friday from 1-4 p.m.
