Lesson 2 Learning Objectives: Special Education Process- Evaluation and IEP Basics

Lesson 3 Learning Objectives: Positive Discipline and Behavior Supports
- I can describe the relationship that exists between self esteem and positive discipline with academic achievement.
- I can identify ways to use positive praise to encourage a growth mindset.
- I can describe what information an FBA and BIP include.
- I can identify ways to use positive discipline to address challenging behaviors.
Lesson 4 Learning Objectives: Progress Reporting for Academic Standards
- I can analyze my student’s report card, test scores, and IEP progress report to determine their strengths, weaknesses and needs.
- I can describe the accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology that my student needs in order to access the general education classroom and curriculum.
Lesson 5 Learning Objectives: Preparing for Transition to Post-Secondary Options
- I can analyze post-secondary options to determine what might be a good fit for my student and if my student needs transition services or other support after high school.
