Degrees and Certifications:
My family and I live in the country near Big Marine Lake about 30 miles northeast of Saint Paul. My wife, Carrie, and I met while she was volunteering at my school many years ago. We have two children; our daughter's name is Francie, and our son's name is Tallen. We also have two dogs Hank, and Roxie. Some of my hobbies include Hiking, Hunting, Fishing (Ice), Camping, Motorcycling, Mt. Biking, and walking the dogs with the family. I am a huge Vikings fan! I have degrees from Vermilion Community College and Bemidji State University for both undergraduate and graduate. My career begin in 1999 at Roosevelt Elementary School in St. Paul. I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade and have been both a Science Specialist, and Social Studies Specialist. I have been with Croosroads since the fall of 2009. The year round schedule and the diversity of the students, staff and a great principal is why I teach at Crossroads.
What's Happening with Team Gregor
As we begin the year in distance learning we will be spending a lot of time building community and teamwork. We'll do this through our live google meetings where we will have plenty of fun getting to know one another. If you are a returning member of Team Gregor we will continue to strengthen and build on what we started a year ago. This is the most important time of the year, please be sure to participate so that we can become the strongest 4th-grade team in the world. We will also be learning the expectations of the class and I will be doing a lot of modeling, Y-charts (how it should look, sound, and feel). We are also working on the C.A.R.E.S which is an acronym for Cooperation, Assertion, Respect, Empathy, and Self-Control.
TEAM GREGOR IS IN, LET DISTANCE LEARNING BEGIN!
