  • Horace Mann School Community Event Returns!

    The 4th and 5th grades are sponsoring the Boo Bash Fall Festival on Friday, October 28 from 5:00-8:00pm. This event raises funds for the 5th Grade weeklong field trip in the spring to Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center. The carnival includes a haunted house, games, and food! Assistance is available if your family has need.

  • Horace Mann School Budget/Staffing Update

    You are invited to attend the virtual PTA Meeting on Thursday, May 12 at 6:30pm to hear the school budget and staffing presentation. This is an opportunity to hear what will happen next school year. There is not an opportunity for input into next year's budget due to enrollment declines and cuts. Instead of input. there will be an overview in the May 13 edition of the Perspectives. We will also work to make a copy of the PTA presentation available through Perspectives or our website.

  • Horace Mann School Students Read 550,000 Minutes in November

    During the PTA Readathon in November, Horace Mann students read a combined 550,000 minutes. Students counted minutes read in school and at home. In addition, students raised over $21,000 dollars in pledges and donations. The money will benefit enrichment programming sponsored by the PTA. Click here to view the Principal’s Challenge.   • Horace Mann School Kindness in Chalk Event- All Invited

    Kindness In Chalk on Sunday, October 10, 4-6 pm drop-in anytime and stay for as little or as long as you would like. Join fellow Horace Mann School families in decorating the sidewalks, not the building, leading into school to continue the celebration of Horace Mann's anti-bullying campaign. Bring your best kindness quotes (drawing skills optional) and help us support the students on Monday when they arrive at school. Come help spread kindness at Horace Mann! Chalk provided! Masks encouraged! The building will not be open for bathrooms. If it is raining, cancellations will be posted on FB by 3:00 pm. Sponsored by the HM PTA Family Service Team, 4th Grade HM Council, HM Girl Scouts, Ms. Witt and all the Unity Day supporters.
