  • Congratulations to Horace Mann School Writers

Last year the Kindergarten students worked with a Compas artist named Marie Olofsdotter. One of our student's poems was called "I am Myself". A poem was written by Ms. Simmons' class called "Kreative Kindergarteners from St. Paul." They were chosen to be featured amongst the best student writing from COMPAS' 2018-2019 Creative Classroom programs. The poems will be published in The World in Our Palms this year. Congratulations!

  • Horace Mann School Family Volunteer Service Night - THANK YOU!

A big thank you to all of our community partners for the meal bags, cleaning kits, care kits, grocery bags, and blankets. Horace Mann families were busy at February 22nd’s Family Volunteer Service Night, but not too busy to say hi to some friendly service dogs and learn a little about blindness from Louis McGee. Thank you to our dog handlers and guest speaker. Thank you for all who donated, cut fleece, ran errands, wrote letters (that’s you 2nd graders!), and organized projects.
