SNOW DAY: School Closed Friday, February 8

All schools will be closed, and programs, activities and events canceled TOMORROW, February 8 due to the weather.  

Please follow the Snow Day instructions from the Staff Winter Weather Plan at spps.org/weather.

Employees who are required by their supervisors should report to work. If you are unsure if you should report to work, contact your supervisor.

  • After-school programs and extra-curricular activities
  • Extended Day for Learning (EDL)
  • Flipside
  • Field trips
  • School events
  • Evening High School
  • Area Learning Centers
  • Early Childhood Family Education
  • Youth Community Education classes
  • Alternative to Expulsion program (A2E)
  • Family Engagement activities (Parent Academy, open house, conferences, etc.)
  • Athletics cancellations are decided upon on an individual basis. Schedule changes are posted on spps.org/sports.
  • Community Education cancellations are decided on an individual basis.
