Culinary Competition Features SPPS Students in Cooking Showdown

Family and consumer science students from five SPPS schools participated in this year’s Culinary Arts Competition at Saint Paul College. The winning team from Como Park Senior High School created a three-course meal that included a scallop and citrus fennel salad, ravioli with butternut squash and a strawberry pistachio fraisier dessert. Executive chefs from favorite Twin Cities restaurants sampled meal creations, interviewed competitors and judged the competition.
