FAFSA COMPLETION NIGHT 11/15/18 (Thursday) from 5:30-7:30

ATTENTION Seniors & Parents and/or Guardians of Seniors:
There will be a FAFSA COMPLETION NIGHT event at Como on 11/15/18 (Thursday) from 5:30-7:30.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the one application that qualifies students for any federal and state loans, grants, and work study for post-secondary education. 

There will be Financial Aid Officers from other schools and college access programs to assist in completing your application. Interpreters will also be on-site.
The event will be held in the Como Cafeteria. (Bring you laptop)!
 
Families should bring with them the following to complete the application:
*Social Security Number
*Alien registration number, if needed
*Driver’s license number, if you have one
*Prior-prior year’s tax information or tax returns for you and your parents (2017 taxes)
*Information on savings, investments, and business and farm assets for you and your parents
*Records of untaxed income
 
Seniors :
STEP #1: CREATE a FSA ID BEFORE Completing the FAFSA
** Attached is a FSA ID Worksheet to help you apply for your FSA ID.  
You may also STOP in the CRC to pick up a FSA ID worksheet to help you prepare for completing the FAFSA. They can be found on the table in the center of the room.

Step #2: Once you have created your FAFSA ID, you may begin the FAFSA application: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa 
 

To make the most out of your FAFSA Night, I suggest you start the FAFSA application before then and complete as much as you canYou can save your work and use the time at FAFSA
