📚 Principal's Reading Challenge

Join Us in Reading Together

Research shows that reading to children starting at a young age, and encouraging them to read on their own are key factors in academic and school success.

As part of our 25th Anniversary Celebrations, we have set a goal of reading 25,000 books by the end of the school year! All students, parents, and staff are welcome to log their reading and submit reading logs. The first Principal's Reading Challenge round will take place from December 20 - February 23.

Students are encouraged to start reading right away and submit as many reading logs as they would like. Books read by adults to children also can be used as part of the reading log count. Students who complete at least 25 books will receive a certificate and a beautiful book. Last year our top reader at lower campus read 175 books!

Students who are reading big chapter books may count every 100 pages as 1 book.

Reading logs may be submitted via email ( or, or your classroom teacher), or by dropping a paper copy in the main office.
