SPPS will join children and adults worldwide on Wednesday, Oct. 2 to celebrate the benefits of walking and biking to school.
Participating in a Walk/Bike to School Day event is fun, good for you, and a great way to meet your neighbors. Last year more than 3,000 SPPS students and staff participated in the event.
National Walk/Bike to School Day is aimed at building awareness for more walkable communities. Since starting in 1997, the daylong event has expanded to more than 40 countries.
