Important Announcement from Frost Lake Principal Stacey Kadrmas

Dear Frost Lake Elementary Families,

With mixed emotions, I am writing to announce that after 10 years at Frost Lake Elementary, I have decided to retire at the end of this school year.

My respect and appreciation for Frost Lake’s students, families and staff made this a difficult decision. I love coming to work, helping each child feel welcome, and working with our dedicated staff and teachers.

Together, we have worked to create an equitable school environment and ensured students receive the same school experience as their peers, regardless of ability. Frost Lake was also recognized as an Apple Distinguished School because of our focus on personalized learning through technology to better meet the learning needs of all students. We could not have accomplished so much without your support and for that I’m truly grateful.

Our leadership team will identify members of our school community to be part of a small interview team.

Assistant Superintendent Andrew Collins will convene the group for principal candidate interviews in April. You will also have a chance to meet your new principal at a school event to be scheduled before school starts in the fall. If you have questions about the process, please contact me.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you and your child over the last several years. I will miss the community of students, staff and families that made my work at Frost Lake enjoyable every day. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Stacey Kadrmas, Principal
Frost Lake Elementary
