Harding continues to be on the Washington Post's list of "America's most Challenging High Schools
". Harding has make the list for the past 6+ years! The list compares the schools that challenge kids to to better and work harder -- and thus be more successful in college.
"AP, IB and Cambridge [classes] are important because they give average students a chance to experience the trauma of heavy college reading lists and long, analytical college examinations. Research has found that even low-performing students who got a 2 on an AP test did significantly better in college than similar students who did not take AP."
~Washington Post - How it works
Harding is one of two St. Paul schools to make the list (the other being Central). Harding ranked #23 in Minnesota and #1927 in the nation (out of over 22,000 schools).
The hard work of our principals and teachers is reflected in this great achievement!
