New Early-Start Programming at Linwood!

ACES K-3 Early Start Program at the Linwood (Lower) Campus


In fall 2017, Athletes Committed to Educating Students (ACES) will provide a five-day weekly program for students in grades K-3 before-school care during school year 2017-2018.  ACES K-3 curriculum intentionally builds growth and development with project-based curriculum and learning experiences that bring together sports, reading, math, and social-emotional learning for students in grades K-3 at Linwood Monroe Lower Campus. 


Students in ACES K-3 will participate in a variety of academic enrichment and recreational activities to support academic and social emotional development.  Social skills, teamwork and problem solving are some of the core competencies that students will develop at ACES.  ACES Academic Coaches (Instructors) will connect with school-day teachers to help support homework and development of their learning skills.    


ACES is a fee-based program and will have 20 spots available on a first come, first serve basis.  Registration is open until filled. You can apply online at . On-site registration will be available at the Linwood Monroe Lower Campus main office from August 28.


$8 per day per student


Registration: Registration is open until filled.


Contract and payment options:
Students will be registered by semester or entire school-year.  ACES does not operate on non-school days due to closed building.  A student’s schedule must remain the same every week.  Contract can be terminated within 30 days of written notice.  Payment is due every 28th of the month or in lump sum by semester.  All funds must be paid in full before a new contract begins.   


Financial Assistance is available to qualifying students.
