5 Family-Friendly Places to Visit During MEA Weekend

 

There will be no classes in Saint Paul Public Schools on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 19-20, for the annual Minnesota Educator Academy (MEA).

The Minnesota Educator Academy is a two-day event in Saint Paul for educators during the third week of October each year. The event is designed to provide professional development opportunities for Minnesota teachers and educators.

Here are five family-friendly places to visit during MEA weekend:

  1. Minnesota Science Museum: For information and happenings at the Science Museum, visit www.smm.org.
  2. Minnesota Children’s Museum: The Minnesota Children’s Museum has extended hours during MEA weekend. The Children’s Museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Here are 5 ways to combine learning and fun at the Children’s Museum during MEA weekend.
