Escape the Vape Video Challenge

Minnesota Department of Health is teaming up with Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota, Tobacco-Free Alliance, CCF Advertising, MNAAP (Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics), MN Youth Council and Allina Health’s Change to Chill on a new initiative called, "Escape the Vape."

Aimed at having teens educate their peers on the dangers of vaping, the Escape the Vape Challenge is a statewide video contest open to high school students. Students are asked to submit a 30-second public service announcement (PSA) on vaping's negative health effects. Five finalists will be selected from the entries, with online voting determining the winner. Cash prizes of $500 will be awarded to the winner and their school. Learn more by going to the Escape the Vape website.
