The SPPS school leadership eligibility pool process is designed to identify highly qualified, successful leaders for our schools. Through this process, aspiring principals and assistant principals must demonstrate evidence of leadership experience related to SPPS Principal Competencies. Applicants must be able to demonstrate school-wide leadership experiences that have resulted in positive student outcomes.  

The eligibility pool will be used as a means to provide screened and qualified candidates for principal and assistant principal vacancies for the upcoming school year. Selection into the pool does not guarantee a position. The pool expires Aug. 31 each year.

Applicants who wish to be considered for school leadership positions in SPPS must pass this process for further consideration.
