Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has issued a new stay-at-home order, which will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 27. This order means that students will not go back to school after spring break. Distance learning will begin on Monday, April 6, and go through at least May 4, 2020. We know this is an unusual and stressful time for our students, families, teachers and staff. We will continue to provide you with timely information about the district’s plans via email, on social media and at spps.org/covid. Stay healthy, and stay at home as much as possible.
Following an Executive Order issued by Governor Walz, Saint Paul Public Schools are closed until March 27. Instruction will resume through Distance Learning on April 6. Families and staff should plan to participate in Distance Learning until at least May 4, 2020.
Buses will deliver meals on their regular morning routes. Bus stops are scheduled each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday based on school start times. All Saint Paul families are welcome to take one box per child, per week.
